Brass Plaque – “England Expects…”
£9.49
A famous signal by Nelson during the Trafalgar battle is on this polished brass plaque - "England Expects..."!
In 1805 Nelson's HMS Victory sent this signal at the beginning of the war on October 21st: "England expects that every man shall do his duty!". As we all know after this important battle England got control of the seas and eliminate the chance of French conquest. The phrase became very popular as a result of the importance of the battle and Nelson's death.
A great gift to mount on a wall in any place you can imagine fit. In addition, the brass plaque - "England Expects..." is 10cm long and easily readable.
